Attacking & loadout
Levelling attacks work best as a short production line: equip, win quickly, Leave, heal if needed, next target. Everything in your loadout should serve that loop.
Before you click Attack
- Primary and secondary weapons equipped
- Armor equipped
- Temporary item ready (pepper spray is a common early choice)
- Temporary re-equip enabled in attack preferences
- Life high enough to survive a bad roll
In the fight
Attacks have a time and turn limit. Use the temporary item first so the defender is easier to hit, then dump damage with your melee or primary. Do not sit idle until the fight times out.
Leave, Mug, or Hospitalize
After a win you choose an ending. For Baldr and TAC levelling:
- Leave — best XP. Default choice.
- Mug — cash or items. Usually skip while racing to 15.
- Hospitalize — removes them from the street. Useful in wars; on shared lists it denies XP to you and other new players.
Shared list etiquette
Baldr and TAC are a shared newbie resource. Prefer inactive targets. Do not hospitalize them to camp. If someone is clearly online and fighting back hard, move on — you are here for XP, not a feud.
When fights go badly
- Heal between attempts
- Confirm nothing unequipped after hospital or item use
- Drop to an easier list
- If the whole session is losses, stop and train
